History

The Bradley Group can trace its roots to the original demolition company founded in Standish in 1990. Since then, the company has undergone a number of transformations resulting in the present structure.
1990
Estabilished by Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson established the business. The first machine Paul bought was a crusher.

1996
Limited Company

Bradley Demolition started trading as a limited company at Bradley Hall Trading Estate in Standish, which is where the name originates from. At that time the company employed approximately 15 people.

From Standish, Bradley Demolition moved to Blackrod Industrial Estate, Bolton.

2011
Asbestos Removal

We became full member of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA).

National Federation of Demolition

We were elected corporate members of the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC)

Kent Street
We moved to our current address at Kent Street, Preston and now employ over 70 people, some of whom have been employed from the very start.

Asbestos Licence

Asbestos licence granted by the HSE

2016
Kent Street Expansion

Following expansion of the business, we purchased the yard at Kent Street, built six
new offices and a new reception area.

Achilles Accreditation

Achieved our Achilles Building Confidence Accreditation

North West Regional Chairman

Paul Johnson was appointed as North West Regional Chairman for the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC).

SME Climate Hub

Signed up to the SME Climate Hub, The Climate Pledge and became a member of the United Nations Race to Zero Campaign.
