Demolition and Redevelopment in Castlefields, Runcorn

The Bradley Group were proud to play an important part in the Castlefields Regeneration project in Runcorn, one of the largest estate renewal schemes in the North West.

Working in partnership with Halton Borough Council, the Homes and Communities Agency, and other key stakeholders, our team delivered extensive demolition, infrastructure, and remediation works that laid the foundations for a thriving new community.

As part of the Castlefields Regeneration Partnership, Bradley Group managed the safe and efficient demolition of over 1,280 deck-access flats, the construction of new access roads, and large-scale site clearance to enable over 950 new homes to be built. Our work helped transform an ageing housing estate into a modern, sustainable neighbourhood with high-quality housing, green spaces, and improved community facilities.

About the Castlefields Regeneration Project

The Castlefields Regeneration programme was initiated in the early 2000s to replace outdated housing with modern, energy-efficient homes and to create better connections to Runcorn town centre. The regeneration also included the development of the award-winning Phoenix Park, a community hub, and local retail amenities designed to improve quality of life for residents.
