Project Scope:

Mechanical demolition of former car show rooms and associated works.

The site comprised of various former car showrooms/garages, a repair centre and car wash building. The site was bounded by existing roads and pavements and adjacent occupied housing and business premises.

Demolition Works

The Demolition of the Perrys Motor Village buildings included the following stages:

Erection of Hoardings

Erection of any temporary hoardings / fencing and the like deemed necessary to ensure the safe operation of all works and protection of all site personnel and the public for the duration of the contract.

Asbestos Removal

Removal of all remaining asbestos material as recorded in Demolition Surveys and any additional asbestos material found during the execution of the works.

Live Services Isolation & Removal

Isolation and removal of existing live services and meters.

Soft Strip Out

Any necessary internal soft strip works.

Mechanical Demolition

Demolition of existing buildings / structures identified on the drawings, including all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Installations; to ground floor slab level.

Protection

Protection of existing retained adjacent buildings / structures / foundations.

Temporary Works

Temporary works as required.

Concrete Crushing

Crushing of suitable demolition materials on site and stockpiling on site.

Material Removal

Removal of all surplus demolition arisings.
