This project, at the newly refurbished South Shore Academy in Blackpool, required a detailed Asbestos removal and demolition programme, conducted within a tight schedule and alongside the newer occupied school buildings. An extensive licensed and non-licensed Asbestos removal procedure was conducted.
Once completed a mechanical demolition and removal of asbestos roofs were scheduled, followed by further mechanical demolition and site clearance including the crushing of materials on site.
