Bradley Group recently swapped the sites for the football pitch, taking on a team of valued supply chain partners in a charity match at Bolton Wanderers’ Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The event brought together people we work alongside throughout the year for a day of football, fundraising and friendly competition – all in support of two fantastic charities, Holly’s Hearts and Derian House Children’s Hospice.

A Memorable Day at the Toughsheet Community Stadium
Playing at the home of Bolton Wanderers made the occasion particularly special. From arriving at the stadium and getting ready in the changing rooms to walking out onto the pitch, it was an experience the players and supporters won’t forget.
The two teams – one representing Bradley Group and the other made up of our supply chain partners – gave it their all from the first whistle. There was plenty of friendly rivalry, a great atmosphere and more than a little determination to take home the trophy!
While everyone wanted to win, the day was really about bringing people together and raising money for two causes that make a huge difference to children, young people and their families.

Supporting Two Fantastic Charities
The match was held in support of Holly’s Hearts and Derian House Children’s Hospice.
Holly’s Hearts helps children receiving treatment for cancer by providing special experiences, gifts and respite breaks. Its aim is to give children and their families the chance to spend valuable time together and create precious memories during an incredibly difficult period in their lives.
Derian House cares for more than 400 seriously ill babies, children and young people across the North West. The hospice provides respite, end-of-life and family support, helping children and their families make the most of every moment together.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, attended and supported the event, the match raised a significant amount for both charities.
We’re incredibly proud of what was achieved and grateful to everyone who contributed to the total.

Bringing Bradley and Our Supply Chain Together
Bradley Group works closely with a wide range of trusted supply chain partners throughout the year. The charity match gave everyone the opportunity to get together away from projects, meetings and the usual day-to-day demands of the industry.
Events like this are a great way to strengthen relationships, enjoy time together and support worthwhile causes in the process. The teamwork, communication and good-natured competition on the pitch reflected the strong working relationships shared by everyone involved.
A Huge Team Effort
A lot of work went on behind the scenes to bring the event together. Alongside the players representing Bradley Group and our supply chain partners, colleagues helped to plan and organise the day and make sure everything ran smoothly.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who gave their time, took part, attended or supported the teams from the sidelines. Every contribution helped make the match a success both on and off the pitch.
It was a brilliant day and one that everyone involved will remember for a long time!
Thank you once again to everyone who helped make the Bradley Group Charity Football Match such a memorable occasion. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
